For more than 20 years, the National Black MBA Association® has been mentoring high school students all across the country; helping them integrate professional development into their lifestyles, prepare for college, learn how to effectively network, and above all, give back to their communities, and raise their level of expectation. Leaders of Tomorrow® (LOT) is a program designed to expose minority youth to African American business professionals and assist in identifying positive career and educational options. Mentors work with 8-12 grade students to build the competencies necessary for success through local chapter programming, the national conference, the Leaders of Tomorrow National Business Case Competition, and the National Leadership camp.

High school students and mentors can join the Twin Cities Chapter of Leaders of Tomorrow®. The program helps students develop advanced skills and understanding in many areas, including:

– College preparation
– Professional and career development
– Leadership and management
– Networking
– Community engagement
– Public speaking
– Analytical and critical thinking
– Habits and goal setting
