NBMBAA develops the very best African American business leaders and managers through our inventive program offerings. Our programs focus on development, networking and community impact.

A few examples of our programs include:

Development

We provide unique development programs including panels, presentations, and training.  This year’s development session topics include Multicultural Marketing, Women’s Leadership Panels, and the State of Black Entrepreneurship.

Networking Mixers

The Twin Cities has a robust professional community and people looking for connections.  Throughout the year, we host networking mixers to connect our members with other professionals in the Twin Cities.  These events range from structured sessions to informal happy hours.

Community Impact

We work to make a positive impact in the community.  This is demonstrated not only through our LOT program, but also through volunteer activities and scholarships.

Volunteer Event:  This year’s volunteer event will be a Habitat for Humanity project.  We are finalizing details. Please check back for more information.

Scholarships:  We believe an investment in the education of our youth is an investment in our association. Scholarship programs promote the NBMBAA mission of increasing the number, as well as the diversity of successful African Americans in the community by providing scholarships to outstanding deserving minority students at the undergraduate, graduate, and PhD level who exceed in academic achievement, leadership development, and service commitment.  The Twin Cities Chapter is offering scholarships to outstanding minority students pursuing undergraduate and graduate management/business degrees, while demonstrating strong leadership abilities and a commitment to their communities.
